FLINT & GENESEE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Whitmer postpones sales, use and withholding tax collection for Michigan small businesses

Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 12.

Small businesses that rely on in-door dining can postpone their monthly sales, use and withholding tax payments until Jan. 20, 2021.

Small businesses that rely on in-door dining can postpone their monthly sales, use and withholding tax payments until Jan. 20, 2021, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced Thursday.

The Michigan Treasury will waive all interest and penalties for 31 days, Whitmer said in a Dec. 10 press conference.
