Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools recently issued the following announcement.
C-A is accepting School of Choice applications for enrollment for the second semester of the 2021-2022 school year for a limited number of students who do not reside within the district's boundaries. We have limited openings at Dillon (K-3rd grades), Dye (K-5th grades), Randels (K-5th grades), and Rankin (K-5th grades). There are unlimited openings in all grade levels at Carman-Ainsworth High School and Middle School. Students will not be charged tuition and do not need a release from their resident district if accepted for enrollment.
A two-year physical-attendance behavior report is required with each application.
Transportation is the responsibility of parents.
Applications will be available both on the district website and at the Administration Building, G-3475 W. Court Street, on Monday, January 3, 2022.
The deadline to submit applications and behavior is Friday, January 14, 2022.
If more students apply for a specific building and grade than available openings a lottery process will be used to fill such openings. All remaining students qualifying for acceptance will be placed on a waiting list in the event more openings occur.
