Clio Area School District issued the following announcement on Jan 18.
CURRENT COVID TESTING RULES:
If your child is currently isolated for a positive COVID test or in quarantine/testing due to being a close contact, please note the following:
1. COVID POSITIVE: A student who has no symptoms or symptoms are resolving and fever-free with no medication for 24 hours may return on the sixth day. The student must wear a mask on days 6-10. This means any Clio student who tested positive on or before January 12, 2022 may return to school on January 18, 2022 as long as the above conditions are met.
2. CLOSE CONTACT: A student who was identified as a close contact in school** on or before January 13, 2022 may return to school on January 18, 2022 with no restrictions and no testing. Students should closely monitor for symptoms for ten days. Close contacts in the home will still need to test on days 1, 3, and 5.
NOTE: Testing will remain at the former administration building through Friday, January 21st.
