Bentley Community School District issued the following announcement on Jan 25.

Bentley Bulldogs,

Due to the very high positivity rate of COVID in our community, we will continue to implement universal masking. Given the current Genesee County Health Department  (GCHD) guidance, this better allows us to maintain in-person instruction. The current positivity rate in Genesee County is approximately 32%; we will revisit masking options when the community positivity rate reaches 15%.

GCHD continues to encourage people to get vaccinated, mask, socially distance, and wash hands regularly for at least 20 seconds or use hand-sanitizer.

Thank you for your understanding,

Dr. Kristy Spann, Superintendent
