Michigan Tech Employees Federal Credit Union

The MTEFCU is looking for a friendly, motivated, outgoing individual who enjoys working with people. The selected candidate will primarily support the deposit and electronic operations of the credit union, though they will also assist with member questions, account transactions, and other financial needs.
DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
- Assist with check, credit card, and debit card processing, balancing, fraud monitoring and dispute settlement;
- Process ACH and wire transfers;
- Provide online banking, mobile banking, and Bill Pay support;
- Monitor automated data file processing;
- Balance ATMs
- Balance and reconcile general ledger entries;
- Gather information for audits and examinations;
- Provide backup for loan operation duties as needed;
- Assist with management and board reporting; and
- Assist other departments with a variety of duties as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Six months to two years of banking, accounting, or similar work experience
- Proficient with computers (including typing)
- Good math skills
- Dependable
- Professional presentation and demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
