Saturday, Feb. 1: Clio Area High School standout Brooklyn Rushton’s college team loses to North Georgia Nighthawks

On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Clio Area High School standout Brooklyn Rushton’s current college team, the Barry Buccaneers, lost 11-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. at Buccaneer Softball Field against Wingate Bulldogs.
