78 percent of applicants to the Flint Institute of Barbering Inc were admitted for fall 2018

At the Flint Institute of Barbering Inc, 60 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 81 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Flint enrolled 36 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Michigan.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Black or African American (67 percent) and white (33 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 32 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 68 percent enrolled.
