Cost of college went up for all students at Kettering University

Tuition and fees rose 2.4 percent for 2018-19 at Kettering University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Michigan students paid $43,490 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,000 more than the $42,490 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 371 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.5 million and 240 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.8 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,315), 1,829 students used grants or scholarships totaling $33.8 million, and 1,114 students took out $7.2 million in federal student loans.
