City of Linden issued the following announcement on Aug 3.
Bring your own chairs! A touch of folk music is coming to downtown Linden, Michigan, by way of Linden United Methodist Church.
A special program will be presented at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 7, on the church lawn. The program, about an hour and a half, will honor the members of the Linden Police and Fire Departments in a short presentation.
Three acts will present a variety of folk, old country and bluegrass music.
The public is cordially invited. The church is located at 201 S. Bridge St. (Linden Road), 1 block south of the light.
