City of Clio recently issued the following announcement.
CONGRATULATIONS CITY COMMISSIONER D.J. WILLIAMS and Carl Thompson!
D.J. and Carl were reappointed to a three-year term on the City of Clio’s Zoning Board of Appeals during the City Commission’s meeting of Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
D.J. has served on the City’s Zoning Board of Appeals since 2012 and Carl has served on the City's Zoning Board of Appeals since 2001.
The City of Clio Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five (5) members appointed by a majority vote of the City Commission. The Board shall hear and decide questions that arise in the administration of the zoning ordinance, including the interpretation of the zoning maps, and may adopt rules to govern its procedures sitting as a zoning board of appeals and shall possess and exercise all other powers and duties as set forth in the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Public Act 110 of 2006.
