City of Grand Ledge issued the following announcement on Sept 30.
It is a beautiful time of year but as the leaves begin to fall, please refrain from piling leaves on the curb until the leaf pickup schedule is posted (leaf pickup begins when trees have dropped 50% of their leaves or more). Additionally, it is critical for all residents to never push leaves into the street which creates hazards for vehicles and pedestrians.
In the meantime, leaves can be dropped at the Grand Ledge Compost Center open Wednesdays, 3:00 - 7:00 PM, and Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Annual Pass Required). Depending on a resident's local trash service provider, bagged curbside pickup may be available (contact your local trash service provider for information).
