City of Flushing issued the following announcement on Oct 14.
DPW Annual Fall Leaf pick-up will begin Monday, October 18, 2021. Place all leaves in the road against the curb unless you live on Main Street. On Main Street leaves should be in the right of way (on the grass side) next to the curb. There is no set schedule, the leaf pick up truck will make a path around the city, and when done, will start again. We do not know when the leaves will be picked up in your neighborhood. Please do not put any leaves out to the road after Thanksgiving.
Bagged leaf pick-up through Emterra will end on Monday, November 15th or Tuesday, November 16th depending upon your regular trash pick-up day.
