City of Clio issued the following announcement on Oct 20.
TRAIL MASTER PLAN TO ASSESS the current condition of the City of Clio’s network of trails, identify recommendations for improvements, and prepare an implementation plan to be completed by Rowe Professional Services Company, as follows:
I. Current condition assessment:
Assessing the current condition of the city’s network of trails by its parts to include their physical condition; constraints and deficiencies, if any; accessibility and safety; and potential for complimentary uses.
II. Recommendations for improvement:
The intent of these recommendations is to provide for the long-term sustainability of the city’s network of trails for public use, ensure accessibility with particular attention to universal design, improved safety, and maximization of benefits through complimentary uses.
III. Implementation plan:
Recommendations will be presented in a digestible capital improvement plan identifying and prioritizing projects, or project areas, with an itemized cost estimate.
The City Commission approved the engagement of Rowe to complete this Plan during its meeting of Monday, October 18, 2021.
