City of Durand issued the following announcement on Nov 8.
Thanks to Consumers Energy and the Michigan Forestry and Park Association for their assistance with the Consumers Energy 2021 Community Street & Boulevard Tree Planting Grant. Through this program, Consumers reimbursed the city $2,500 for twenty five trees, which were planted in streets right-of-way by city maintenance personnel.
