City of Fenton recently issued the following announcement.
This is a reminder to residents that Section 29-15 of the City of Fenton Code of Ordinance states that city property owners are required to remove all snow and ice from the sidewalks in front of their property.
The snow remove must be completed within 12 hours after the snow event.
This serves as the first public notice to all municipal property owners. If sidewalks are left uncleared, the city will perform the work and bill the costs as a lien on the property.
