Fenton Historical Society and The A. J. Phillips Museum issued the following announcement on Jan 30.
Fenton has a Revolutionary War soldier buried at Old Prospect Hill in Oakwood Cemetery! Altamont Donaldson, Sr., who would've been just 13 years old in 1776.
The Daughters of the American Revolution noted in the proceedings of their 24th Continental Congress that Altamont's son is also buried at Oakwood, and that he was a Veteran of the War of 1812.
