City of Clio issued the following announcement on Feb 17.
NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO DIED OF DRUG OVERDOSES in a single year has reached an all-time high, yet another grim milestone in the nation's ongoing opioid crisis.
In Michigan, 2,933 people died during the 12 months ending in September 2021, compared with 2,741 during the 12 months ending in September 2020, the CDC data said. It is an increase of 7%.
