Greater Durand Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar 23.
Today’s statewide tornado drill has been CANCELED by the National Weather Service and will not be rescheduled. Residents are reminded that Durand activates its regularly scheduled siren tests on the second Sunday of the month at noon.
Despite the cancellation of today's statewide tornado drill, residents are encouraged to use this time to plan where you would shelter in the event of an actual weather emergency.
