Former Clio Area High School standout Brooklyn Rushton played on Saturday, May 10 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 10, former Clio Area High School standout Brooklyn Rushton’s current collegiate team the Barry Buccaneers won 1-0 against the Tampa Spartans in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Tampa Spartans in the tournament.

The Barry Buccaneers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 1:20 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field.
