Youth ages 14-19 are encouraged to sign up now for the City of Flint Civic Youth Leadership Academy, happening September 14- November 2, 5:00-6:30 p.m. This opportunity is free to the first 15 participants who are committed to attending all eight sessions.

The goal of the City of Flint Youth Leadership Academy is to give residents a behind-the-scenes look at how the government works at all levels. We hope to lift up collective efficacy regarding local, state and federal policy through civic enrichment, engagement, and education to provide the Flint community with the tools and resources needed to advocate for policy change.
