EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing 54B District Court Chief Judge Molly E. Hennessey Greenwalt announces that the public investiture of East Lansing 54B District Court Judge Lisa L. Babcock will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.
The ceremony will be held at the 54B District Court, 101 Linden St., East Lansing, Mich., in Courtroom 2, and is open to the public. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to babcockinvestiture@gmail.com.
Judge Babcock was elected to a six-year term of office during the November 8, 2022 General Election and took office January 1, 2023. She replaces former East Lansing 54B District Court Judge Richard D. Ball, who retired January 1, 2023 after 30 years of service to the Court and community.
